Career and achievements

Research areas

  1. Polymer synthesis and modification. Synthesizing biodegradable polymer materials based on dynamic covalent network chemistry and adapting them for 3D printing.

  2. Polymer composite materials. Developing HDPE-based self-reinforced composites using metallocene poly(α-olefin) (mPAO), and optimizing their rheological, thermal, and mechanical properties.

  3. Flame-retardant materials. Designing flame-retardant polymer systems that meet the UL-94 V-0 standard and improving fiber–matrix adhesion.

  4. Polymer recycling and sustainability. Developing technologies to recover HDPE at over 96% purity through selective recycling strategies.

  5. Structure–property analysis of materials. Comprehensive investigation of the physicochemical properties of polymer and composite materials using DSC, TGA, FE-SEM, rheometry, UTM, FT-IR, and NMR.

  6. Applying artificial intelligence to the chemical industry. Using machine learning (ML) models to predict material properties, optimize manufacturing parameters, and accelerate the discovery of new materials.
