Researcher
Career and achievements
Co-authored research in organic chemistry and materials science on NIR/NIR-II chromophores and functional organic dyes and pigments. This includes studying the photostability of an ICG-based polymerized NIR chromophore (KR-NIR-P) and its suitability for biological imaging, as well as contributing to a solar-driven PET depolymerization technology based on the photothermal properties of the Vat Brown 72 pigment.
His research spans NIR dyes, photothermal processes, and the chemical recycling of polymers for the circular economy.
